I would like the community’s opinion on whether Aura should be allowed to be a super app in BrightID.
A super app allows an app to act on a BrightID user’s behalf–for example, making connections or linking to apps. They also get access to a user’s actual BrightID, which most apps should not do. Most apps only get an app-specific identifier signifying that the user is unique in the context of the app.
Super apps are useful and needed only if they help a person to become verified, not just consume a person’s verification. Aura fits this case.
Based on a suggestion from Kaz, I think proposing super apps to the community DAO before whitelisting them in BrightID is a great idea.
